Manages a team of roving producers tasked with producing shows across City Cast's network of daily, local news podcasts. Identifies when a city is in need of additional help and assigns roving producers to that said city. Makes sure that roving producers have the tools they need to assist other cities.

Also assists with producing shows for the network's many cities, when necessary. This will involve audio editing, mixing, scripting, prepping, recording, booking, and pitching.

Producer for the daily local news podcast network City Cast, which was created by David Plotz. Produces, scripts, edits, and mixes episodes for the network’s daily podcasts in Chicago and Denver. Works with both teams in creating 15 to 20-minute daily episodes that explore the local news of the day. Pitches local stories and works closely with the shows’ hosts in their delivery and reporting.


Everything is Fine (Freelance)

Edits and mixes weekly episodes for the podcast Everything is Fine, hosted by Kim France and Jennifer Romolini. Cuts down hour-plus conversations between hosts as well as interviews with notable guests including Jo Piazza and Peggy Orenstein. Improves audio quality in Audition and addresses content notes provided by the show's co-hosts. Mixes episodes in Audition using the show’s theme music and incorporates ad breaks. Has also ordered audio equipment and occasionally troubleshoots recording technical issues.


How I F*ck (Self-funded)

Created How I F*ck, a sex-positive podcast that explores sex, human connection, and diversity. Episodes inform and entertain by using interviews, narrations, research, and original music. Produces, hosts, interviews guests, and edits episodes while also managing a team of five contributors. Manages the pod’s growing social media presence.


Himalaya (Contract)

Produced and edited Himalaya’s weekly podcasts, The Girl with the Self-Esteem Issues with Rosie Mercado and its Spanish-only equivalent La latina con baja autoestima con Rosie Mercado. Pitched episode ideas and booked celebrity talent including Panache Desai, Luz Maria Doria, and Maria Elena Salinas. Script questions in both English and Spanish; recorded episodes remotely and edited episodes for both audio and video on Audition and Premiere. Script ad spots using talking points provided by Himalaya's ads team, and directed podcast host’s delivery of said copy. Uploaded episodes weekly, and wrote episode show notes and titles.


Spotify (Contract)

Podcast Producer-—September 2020 - December 2020

Producer for Spotify’s original three-part docu-series “Class of 2020 Speaks” which follows 10 recent grads as they navigate post-grad life during a pandemic. Worked with the show’s senior producer in interviewing the grads, selecting tape, scripting episodes, and leaving notes for the show’s audio editor in regards to the podcast’s audio mix and narrative. Recorded and directed interviews with grads across the country and also directed the show’s host in their overall delivery of the scripts. Created gear guides so grads could record themselves remotely, and also fact-checked each episode, and reached out to additional sources.


ATTN: (Full-time)

Editorial Producer & Editor-—June 2018 - May 2020

Pitched, scripted, produced, and edited videos that explore news, the environment, social initiatives, and culture. As part of ATTN:’s daily content team, produced breaking and evergreen content in a fast-paced work environment. Interviewed experts and talent, and did extensive research for stories. Shot original content on location and in-studio with a crew of up to five people, and produced videos using UGC and in-house media. Assisted with studio set-up, talent liaising, and camera operation for on-location shoots. Produced branded content and did the voiceover for long-form explainer videos. Produced originally-shot videos that garnered as much as 43 million views.


POPSUGAR (Full-time)

Video Producer & Writer-—September 2015 - June 2018

Pitched, scripted, produced, and directed original videos in the field and in-studio that spotlighted influential women, new trends, and heartwarming stories. Produced Facebook-optimized text-on-clip videos pertaining to women’s lifestyle, breaking news, and pop culture/entertainment for the daily content team. Directed crews of up to four people and directed voiceover artists for daily videos. Used SEO/business tools to distribute video content on different platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Pitched and wrote SEO articles for the POPSUGAR site. Interviewed celebrities on camera and covered red carpet events and junkets.
